Fundraising for clean water
In this article, we’re diving headfirst into the comprehensive fundraising project initiated by the fashion powerhouse GESTUZ and renowned model agency Le Management. A heartfelt project consisting of various milestones all aimed at providing clean water to crisis-affected areas in collaboration with Red Cross – here’s how it went.
A multi-faceted fundraising approach
The fundraising project, which aimed at gathering as much support as possible for the Danish Red Cross organization, stood on two main pillars.
The first involved donating an entire day’s revenue from GESTUZ’ online store to the cause. The second pillar offered consumers the opportunity to purchase symbolic ‘water’ on the website during checkout. For just 10 DKK, customers could add ‘200 liters of water’ to their cart, thereby directly contributing to the cause. Together, these efforts successfully generated substantial support for the mission.
Global impact and community involvement
Red Cross is the world’s largest humanitarian organization and the initiators of the establishment of Club 10; a selection of Red Cross ambassadors consisting of influential figures from culture and business that generate funds for the organization’s charity projects.
Jannick Lyneborg-Lindberg, CEO of Le Management and part of the Club 10 of June 2023-2024, reflected on the collaboration, saying: “We are very grateful for the valuable partnership with GESTUZ, which once again allows us to support Red Cross and their important work. This project reminds us that we can all make a difference, especially when we work together. We are proud of the project and look forward to seeing its impact – hopefully inspiring a wave of goodwill.”
