The ourFoundation x VERO MODA campaign
For the Love of Mothers was a heartfelt project constituted between the charity organization ourFoundation and the renowned fashion brand VERO MODA. The campaign celebrated the diverse aspects of motherhood with a shared purpose to raise awareness and resources for the SOS Children’s Village in Zanzibar. A highly successful project that we’re thrilled to have been part of.

In the name of motherhood
There’re numerous ways in which a mother figure can exist. With this campaign, we honored the mothers that have endured childbirth, adoption, or that are nurturing a friend or a family member in need. Parental care is vital for one’s upbringing and development, and a mother’s love is nothing short of irreplaceable. With our focus on the Children’s Villages in Tanzania, the decision to take part of this campaign was a no-brainer.
Several brands assisted in bringing the campaign to life with VERO MODA, including Le Management, HOOD Agency, SOS Children’s Villages, and Dropptv, helping the project come to life and enforcing the wonderful results.
Fashion and funds
VERO MODA’S For the Love of Mothers campaign was at the heart of this initiative, allowing their customers to contribute to a cause that uplifts and empowers mothers. By purchasing items from this collection, customers not only celebrated the unique bonds of motherhood, but also directly contributed to enhancing the lives of the families in Zanzibar.
The purpose that drove the initiative
€43,000 were raised for the Children’s Villages – funds that had a profound impact on their everyday life, enabling the provision of essential services and supplies to the community. These resources adressed critical needs, including:
• Food security: ensuring families have access to nutritious meals.
• Medical supplies and medicine: Providing necessary healthcare resources to maintain the well-being of children and families.
• Education: Providing educational supplies to give children the opportunity to learn and grow.
• Enrichment activities: Offering programs and activities that encourage creativity, play, and social development among children.
This achievement showcases that no contribution is ever too small, and that every good initiative can have an impact. The generosity and compassion of every donation have made a tangible difference in the lives of many. We’re continuously proud of what we have accomplished together and look forward to continuing our efforts to support communities in need.
