FAIRe: A stand for the future of fashion
June 3, 2025
As artificial intelligence continues to evolve, so does its reach into the industries that shape our cultures – and fashion is no exception. But what happens when technology begins to replace the people behind the craft?
On May 19, Le Management CEO, Jannick Lindberg, proudly launched FAIRe – the Fashion Alliance for Integrity, Rights, & ethics. An international movement founded to protect the creative professionals who built the fashion industry – from models and photographers to stylists, designers, and many more.
FAIRe is a response to the rising, unregulated use of AI-generated models and content that threatens not only jobs within the fashion ecosystem, but also the authenticity, diversity, and human essence that characterize the sector.
Led by Jannick and supported by over 60 model agencies across Europe – including from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, and more – FAIRe is a call to action to establish clear ethical standards in how AI is used within the fashion industry.

An industry built by humans, with humans, for humans
“We’re not against the use of technology, but we believe it must be used responsibly,” Jannick explains.
To him, this is not just a creative issue – it’s an ethical one. And it goes beyond fashion.
AI models and tools, if left unregulated, can replicate human appearance, style, and creative work without consent. This undermines not only intellectual property and labor rights but also has the potential to reshape – and in some cases, distort – global beauty ideals.
Unlike real human individuals, AI-generated models are created through biased datasets and often reflect unrealistic, homogenized standards. Jannick is concerned that this might reverse the years of progress the industry has made toward greater inclusivity and representation.
“I’m proud of the mark my partner* and I have made in the industry. We’ve done it as humans, in collaboration with humans, for humans. And it’s precisely this humanity that is now being threatened by AI,” Jannick states.
FAIRe exists to protect the rights, relevance, and integrity of models and creatives amid the growing presence of new technology in the industry.
Shaping the future – together
FAIRe is about taking responsibility for the future we are creating for ourselves and future generations. It’s about making sure innovation doesn’t come at the cost of authenticity.
The alliance invites agencies, brands, creatives, and supporters around the world to join them in building a more ethical, transparent, and inclusive industry – that is able to coexist with the emergence of artificial intelligence.
“It’s simple, really,” Jannick assures, “we want the future of fashion to be FAIRe.”
