Q&A: How LIÉ Studio’s store has fared

Since the grand opening of LIÉ Studio’s flagship store, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. In this Q&A, we catch up with Emma Barslund-Gade, a Retail Assistant at LIÉ Studio, to explore the successes and memorable moments from the first couple of months since the opening.  

Q. How has the opening period of the flagship store been so far?  

A. It’s been incredibly exciting and rewarding to open our doors and welcome all our wonderful customers. The first month has been quite busy, with a notable amount of international visitors, especially during the 3daysofdesign event. The support and enthusiasm from our community have been truly heartwarming.  

Q. What has been the general customer reception to the store?  

A. Our customers love the store as much as we do! They are as captivated by our jewelry as by the store’s interior. The welcoming atmosphere, the vibrant and warm colors, and the scent make everyone feel at home immediately. Our customers enjoy spending time in the store and trying on our jewelry. We are thrilled with all the positive feedback we’ve received since our opening. 

Q. Have there been any standout moments that you’d like to share?  

A. We made good friends with a French couple who visited Copenhagen for the weekend. She tried on many pieces but couldn’t decide at first. They came back the next day when she decided on a beautiful set. They stayed for a while, drinking coffee, and I recommended some cute spots and restaurants in Copenhagen. Later, they sent me a picture from their date in the evening — how cute is that! 

Q. Can you tell us about any special events held at the store? 

A. We hosted an opening party for friends and family the day before the official opening of the LIÉ Studio flagship store. We served our favorite drinks, vermouth tonic, and fruity kombucha, along with delicious snacks and bread. It was a lovely evening with many wonderful people stopping by. Our neighbors at Vognmagergade welcomed us warmly, marking the beginning of a great new adventure at our location.  

Q. What are your goals for the flagship store in the coming year?  

A. We aim to make the flagship store the most welcoming and inviting place, where our customers and colleagues love to hang out and feel at home. We want to showcase all our beautiful jewelry and attract even more local and international customers. Additionally, we plan to host various events, collaborate with local artists, and enhance our community engagement to ensure our brand continues to grow and gain recognition.
